Heat Exchangers Services has the largest off the shelf stocks of truck intercoolers in New Zealand. We understand the importance of reducing vehicle downtime so we have built up a large range that can be used for most of New Zealand's heavy trucks.
Since 1992 we have been building new aluminium intercoolers and oil coolers using quality materials which are tested to zero leakage. The O.E leakage standards vary from 15 to 30 psi which is an estimated power loss of 10 - 20% from the trucks engine. The estimated fuel costs for these leakages could be as expensive as $1200 NZD each year.
A leaking charge air cooler dramatically reduces engine power and fuel mileage.
