Race Radiators is the performance department of Heat Exchanger Services. We were one of the early pioneers of custom building aluminium racing car radiators, intercoolers and oil coolers in New Zealand.
Race Radiators specialise in the manufacture of complete radiators and cores for race, street, drag or OEM replacement applications within the automotive industry.
Many performance and modified vehicles require a specially built radiator and intercooler package, to suit their engine, gearbox or body modifications. We have been building high quality aluminium cooling packages from customer's drawings and samples since 1994.
We have the ability to make and convert standard performance units in copper brass or lower volume aluminium units to handle increased horsepower modifications. We can convert plastic tank radiators to all aluminium units with a fully welded construction, therefore avoiding leaking rubber gaskets and giving the radiator increased strength and heat transfer.
We can supply everything from a Nissan Skyline to a Mazda RX7. Many units are available off the shelf or can be made in only a few days!
Our performance radiators can be found in cars on the TARGA RALLY and in many STREET, SPRINT or RACE cars and on large RACING TRUCKS.
The high strength 4WD intercoolers we build give excellent performance and they do not crack or leak. Like the original part, some units are available as an exchange unit!
