Our History
Julian Parbery who started his career in the UK heat exchanger industry in August 1987. Started Heat Exchanger Services in Christchurch in 1998 after selling up his successful radiator shop in the UK. Ltd
Julian was originally in business with Jimmy Parbery but while Julian was working hard overseas to setup a manufacturing plant Jimmy had got into financial trouble and he started stealing from the family business. Julian tried to resolve the matter amicably but Jimmy wanted to steal the whole buiness and take Julians 50% share Jimmy forced the original Heat Exchanger Services into Liquidation, Receivership and Mortgagee sale our factory to get his hands on all the money.

The radiator in my mower exploded, the plactic top gave out after 24 years, and I was looking at a hefty sum of $ to get a replacement from the US. I took it in to these guys and they were like, "no problem, we can fix this. Just need to fabricate a new top and weld it in place." And they did! Superb job, at about a fifth of the cost of a new one. Been using the mower today and it works a treat. Highly recommended.
